Service Terms

These service terms explain what customers can expect and what Berry Bright Cleaning requires in order to provide residential cleaning services safely and efficiently.

Home Access and Preparation

Please provide safe access to the property at the scheduled time. Customers are responsible for making sure entry instructions are accurate and that the home is reasonably ready for service.

Pets, Valuables, and Fragile Items

Please secure pets as needed and remove or protect valuables, cash, firearms, important documents, and fragile or irreplaceable items before service. Let us know in advance about any areas or items that require special handling or should not be cleaned.

Pre-Existing Conditions and Damage

We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, normal wear, deteriorated surfaces, unstable fixtures, improperly installed items, or damage that results from hidden defects or poor prior condition. Some stains, buildup, discoloration, or deterioration may be permanent and may not be fully correctable through standard cleaning.

Scope of Work

Services are limited to the scope agreed at booking or quote approval. Additional tasks, materially different conditions, or homes requiring substantially more time may require revised pricing, more time on site, or rescheduling.

Deposits

A deposit may be required to secure your scheduled appointment. Deposit amounts vary based on the type and scope of service and will be applied toward your total service cost.

Deposits are non-refundable within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment time. If you cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice, your deposit may be transferred to a new appointment time. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled appointment, lockouts, or no-shows will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

Quality Concerns

If you have a concern about service quality, please notify us within 24 hours so we have a fair opportunity to review and address the issue.

Safety and Refusal of Service

  • We may refuse or discontinue service when conditions are unsafe, hazardous, or beyond normal residential cleaning scope.
  • We may stop work if aggressive pets, biohazards, structural concerns, or other unsafe conditions are present.
  • Move-in, move-out, and deep cleaning services may require more time or updated pricing if the property differs materially from the original request.
